Surviving Korean Taxis

2019.10.16

SSG is here to let you in on the ‘R.E.A.L.“ Korean language tips and culture. If you can remember these words, your traveling experience in Korea will be a lot more fun!

When looking at a taxi, you can see a sign with red letters hanging near the top of the windshield. This sign is used to signal if the taxi is occupied or not.

– If you see the word [빈차] that means the taxi is available and you can try to signal it!

– If you see the word [예약] that means there’s already someone inside the taxi.
