[Some cool tips on surviving the subway!]Do you remember the last time on SSG we learned how to get a subway card? Now that we have a subway card, let’s learn how to use it properly!
□Be alert when using the Airport Train
– There are two bounds: Geomam bound and Incheon International Airport bound, make sure you take the right bound train.
□Normal and Express Trains
– Line number 1, 4, 9, Gyeongui Jungang Line, and Bundang Line provide express trains. Unlike the normal trains, express trains only stop at designated ‘express’ stops so make sure that the train you are on stops at the stop you want to get off at.
□Phrases that can be useful during your travel via subway in Seoul.
– When you want to transfer.
“환승하려면 어디로 가나요?”
“Hwanseungharyeomyeon eodiro ganayo?”
-Looking for the exit.
”몇 번 출구로 가면 되나요?“
“Myeon beon chulguro gamyeon doenayo?”
